The Way I Eat and Think

I don't feel like many people at ALL think about food and eating and releasing weight the way I do.  It is awkward feeling to even talk about it because I tend to have the thoughts like, "they are going to think I am crazy,"..."they are going to say you are SO overthinking this"..."the way you are thinking does not make sense at all!"

blanks,bubbles,clouds,comics,comics bubbles,cropped images,cropped pictures,PNG,speech bubbles,speeches,talking,thought bubbles,thoughts,transparent background,word bubbles

But all of that said, I still feel the need to share how I eat and why.  I still feel like there is something BIG to it that needs to be shared.  I still feel like it should be more thought about than it is.

If. my. stomach. growls. and. is empty. my. body. is. telling. me. I. am. hungry.  If. it. does. not. growl. or feel empty. I. am. not. hungry.

Water Time!

It is that time...the time where I am going to enjoy drinking water for the month of February. In this post I talk about how I want to spend a month and just drink water.  My favorite drinks are sweet tea and fountain coca cola.  But they are not beneficial for me because when I drink one I drink more than one.  I am taking a break from them so that I can break free from the thought that I need to sip something sweet all day long.  I love water and if I am not drinking one of those two drinks, I will drink water, delish!

So for this month, I will drink water and enjoy and I will share my journey along the way.  Would any of you would like to join me in drinking water for the rest of the month, and water alone.  So refreshing.  I think my body will thank me for it.  I don't diet, I don't restrict foods unless they make me feel bad and then it is just a choice to avoid them.  So no legalism or rules here, just making a choice to help energize me, refresh me and make me feel better.

I believe initially I will feel the draw to it, and want to grab something sweet, only because my body is used to me feeding it that.  I will have to prayerfully press through each moment of each day, and I will make it.

Vulnerable

Vulnerable.  Vulnerability refers to the inability to withstand the effects of a hostile environment. *(wiki)

I am noticing a lot how much I want to be more vulnerable.  It is something I am inspired by in life, live performances, movies and in regular everyday people that I meet.  I love it when people are vulnerable.  My goal is to be more and more vulnerable.  I feel I will also be more authentic the more vulnerable I become.  But how to go about that?  Am I thinking too much here?

What would it feel like on a daily basis to be vulerable?
  • No worries about what people thought about the words or actions I wanted to take based on conviction and my real personality.
  • Stepping out in faith to act more on things that are put on my heart, instead of holding back.
  • Saying what I feel led to say without thinking, "what will they think if I say that?"
  • Being the real me and not letting others define who I am.
  • Not having the desire to be everything to everyone.

Those are my thoughts, just simple thoughts on my mind, but something I will press through to break through this wall that has held me back through my life.

My 52 Projects in 52 Weeks

So I was inspired by this awesome girl at Pink and Rick to make a bucket list for the year, so instead of all the  more serious feeling direct goals, this is fun!  I want fun!  Also have seem something similar at my friends blog and that linked me to this site where it tells about the 101 project or the 1001 project!  Wow!

They also have other goals you can do like 52 things in 52 weeks, Things to do by 40 (before you turn 40), and others.  Hmmm...Do I want to do a 52 things in 52 weeks or do I want to do the 1001 days.  I am leaning towards the 52 weeks because I find it easier to put things into years instead of a longer time frame.  So here I go into 52 fun projects in 52 weeks!  I will update weekly throughout the year and share my experiences.

This will be fun!  I'm excited now to make this list of things to do and try in 2013!  Join me?? woohoo!~

Living by Feelings?

Living by my feelings is a bummer.  Totally learning that today.  I cannot wait until I feel the perfect way to start living, and that is what I have been tending to do.  I heard a question this morning, and I honestly did not have an answer.  I thought, well, maybe that is why nothing is happening and I keep feeling so "blah."  The question was, "What are you expecting God to do today in your life?"

Wow.  What am I expecting, I thought to myself, I don't think I am expecting anything other than Him to lead me through each moment of the day.

expectations?

I am not sure what my expectations are.  So I started saying I expect something good to happen to me today.  I expect God to show me favor in situations.  I expect breakthroughs are going to happen today.  I expect to have a great attitude all day long.  I expect growth in all areas of my life.

I feel blah so often because I wake up and say okay lets get through this day, seek God, and let Him lead...but then what?  I kind of just go through the day and have gotten into a mundane attitude.  I don't like it.  I want out of that!   Things are going to change and I am glad I am aware of this now, and I also need to remember, I do not have to rely on my feelings, I can choose better choices and actions despite how I may feel.  Feelings are fickle.

Do you have expectations from God each day?  Share with me?
